Devenir un interne sous-alimenté puis un médecin assigné en justice n'est pas facile ; il faut d'abord une dure préparation. En janvier 2012, la première édition du livre d'un jeune interne dérangé, appelé "Les cahiers de l'internat" et curieusement sous-titré "MikBook" paraissait dans un anonymat épais, au sein d'une maison d'édition dont personne ne sait vraiment comment prononcer le nom. Synthèse du programme de l'ECU en 24 chapitres et 500 planches détaillées, méthode d'apprentissage expérimentée sur des années d'enseignement entre l'Université Paris V et les conférences d'internat, le livre voulait proposer aux étudiants un outil nouveau de mémorisation visuelle et logique des points essentiels, s'appuyant sur un graphisme particulier et un code de couleurs identique pour chaque item de chaque chapitre, visant à un projet pédagogique global.
Fort d'un succès aussi controversé que l'élection de Donald Trump en 2017, populaire auprès des étudiants comme des médecins installés autant qu'Harvey Weinstein parmi les actrices hollywoodiennes, le MikBook n'a cessé d'être réédité et actualisé, avec plus de 25 000 exemplaires vendus et toujours aucune publicité. Sept ans et quelques gardes vue plus tard, voici sa dernière édition. Les planches du MikBook offrent en particulier à tous les étudiants, même aux moins expérimentés, un accès rapide à une vision assez compléte d'une discipline ou d'une pathologie.
Ce qui permet aux moins travailleurs de réussir le concours aussi bien que les plus sérieux. En quelque sorte, un livre amoral.

En esta obra, el autor ha sistematizado su amplio conocimiento en cinco grandes capítulos: Tiroides, Paratiroides, Glándulas Salivales, Ganglios Linfáticos y Otras Masas de Cuello. En todos los capítulos se efectúa una cuidadosa revisión de la embriología, anatomía y técnica de examen, para catalogar después las patologías que pueden ser evaluadas por ecografía. A continuación se ilustran en forma pormenorizada los distintos criterios ecográficos que sugieren la naturaleza benigna o maligna de una lesión. Además de analizar los aportes del Doppler color y Doppler power, incluye el relato sobre la más moderna modalidad de diagnóstico por imágenes: la elastosonografía; particularmente en la evaluación de las lesiones de la glándula tiroides y los ganglios linfáticos cervicales. También se detalla el rol de otros métodos como la radiología convencional, centellografía, tomografía computada y resonancia magnética. Así mismo, se describen las diferentes técnicas intervencionistas, sus indicaciones, ventajas y limitaciones. La bibliografía es extensa y actual. Un texto que será de utilidad no sólo para estudiantes y especialistas en diagnóstico por imágenes, sino también para clínicos, endocrinólogos, otorrinolaringólogos, cirujanos, oncólogos, etc.

La lecture de ce roman est une nécessité pour celui qui cherche à percer l'ambiguïté du sentiment amoureux. Paul Glacier sillonne entre ses passions et les femmes, chacune lui apportant quelque chose de différent. Un hommage, un chant des corps féminins, qui ne laisse pas de marbre. EXTRAIT Un paragraphe du « Vieux Saltimbanque » terminé, je tournai la page, avant de reprendre ma lecture, je levai la tête, et vis l'hôtesse s'avancer très lentement.
Juste derrière, presque collée à elle, les mains sur ses épaules, s'avançait la magnificence. Une beauté aveugle ! J'étais abasourdi, mais soulagé. Son handicap me laissait peut-être une chance. Ça ne devait pas courir les rues les adorateurs des beautés aveugles ! Ce ne fut qu'à son retour des toilettes que je découvris ses jambes interminables chaussées de cuissardes en skaï blanc. J'étais ébahi.
Trop belle pour moi. Je retournais à mon livre et pensais à l'une des interrogations de ma jeunesse. Quelle infirmité me serait la plus douloureuse ? Ne plus pouvoir lire était ma hantise.
